The Coordination Body for the Coordination and Monitoring of Inspections has adopted a Decision on the Formation of a Working Group for the Preparation of the Summer Tourist Season, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Milun Zogović, announced today.
"The task and goal of the working group is to create the prerequisites for conducting inspections at full capacity during the summer tourist season," the statement states.
Zogović's office said that the second session of the Coordination Body for the Coordination and Monitoring of Inspections was held today, chaired by Zogović, who is also the president of the Coordination Body.
The statement says that the agenda was as follows:
- Proposal for the Rules of Procedure of the Coordination Body for Harmonization and Monitoring of Inspection Supervision;
- Consideration of annual work reports for 2024;
- Information on annual work plans for 2025;
- Consideration of monthly work reports for January 2025;
- Proposal for a Decision on the formation of a working group for the preparation of the summer tourist season;
- Information on access to the Unified Inspection Information System (JIIS).
The statement states that the members of the Coordination Body unanimously adopted the Rules of Procedure of the Coordination Body, as well as the work reports for 2024 proposed by: Environmental Inspection, Education Inspection, Labor Inspection, Occupational Safety Inspection, Tourism Inspection, Market Inspection, Housing Inspection, Geodesy Inspection, Metrological Inspection, Geological, Mining, Hydrocarbon Inspection, Budget Inspection, Gaming Inspection, Public Procurement Inspection, Social and Child Protection Inspection, Sports Inspection, Health and Sanitary Inspection, Maritime Navigation Safety Inspection, Postal Inspection, Cultural Goods and Heritage Inspection, Archival Inspection, Information Society Services Inspection, Road Traffic Inspection, Forestry and Hunting Inspection, Phytosanitary Inspection, Water Inspection, Food Inspection, Fisheries Inspection, Veterinary Inspection, Agricultural Inspection.
"The Coordination Body was informed about the adoption and publication of the work plans of the competent inspections for 2025. The Coordination Body for the Coordination and Monitoring of Inspection Supervision has adopted a single form for submitting monthly reports, and has obliged all inspection services by the Conclusion to submit work reports for the previous month by the 10th of the current month, so that the KT can have timely insight into the actions and results of the inspections," Zogović's office said.
The statement also states that today's session also discussed the implementation of a unified inspection information system, possible problems and their elimination, with the aim of making the work of the competent inspections as efficient and functional as possible.
"The session was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Public Administration for this agenda item," the statement said.
Zogović emphasized that the Coordination Body, which was constituted on December 25, 2024, will actively monitor the work and actions of all inspection services, monitor and evaluate inspections and inspection supervision through the consideration of reports on the work of inspection bodies.
"It is precisely for this purpose that we are establishing the submission of monthly reports, which will allow us to continuously have insight into the work of inspection services and, based on credible information, to promptly provide recommendations and opinions from the Coordination Body level, in relation to the organization and planning of inspection supervision," the statement reads.
