The International Tourism Fair in Belgrade is one of the most important events for the tourism industry in the region, and guests from Serbia are traditionally important for Montenegro, said Montenegrin Minister of Tourism Simonida Kordić.

The National Tourism Organization of Montenegro (NTO), together with the Ministry of Tourism, local tourism organizations and the tourism industry, presents a diverse offer at the 46th International Tourism Fair IFT in Belgrade.

As announced by the NTO, this is one of the most important events in the region, which is being held this year under the slogan "One map, countless worlds", and brings together more than 400 exhibitors from the country and abroad.

The Montenegrin delegation is led by the Minister of Tourism, Simonida Kordić, who emphasized the importance of the fair for promoting Montenegro as an attractive destination.

"The International Tourism Fair in Belgrade is one of the most important events for the tourism industry in the region. For this reason, Montenegro's presence at this fair is of exceptional importance, as it allows us to present our offer to a large number of visitors, but also to strengthen cooperation with key partners from the tourism sector," said Kordić.

She stated that the markets of Serbia and the region are of particular importance for Montenegro.

"Because it is from this area that the largest number of tourists who have been choosing Montenegro for their vacation for years come. It is important for us to keep an eye on such markets, and I am very pleased that Montenegro is presented in a nice way here," said Kordić.

Member of the Executive Board of the NTO and director of the tourist organization of the Royal Capital of Cetinje, Nikola Jablan, emphasized the importance of the regional market for Montenegrin tourism.

"Proximity, good connectivity and cultural similarity make the region one of the most important markets for Montenegro. It is a pleasure to participate in the Belgrade fair again this year, which provides an excellent platform for presenting our offer and establishing new business contacts," Jablan pointed out.

The NTO said that there was great interest in the Montenegrin stand at the fair, and particular attention was attracted by the exhibited Pljevlja diatreta in a hologram, offers for active holidays, summer holidays on the Montenegrin coast, and events.

"I've been coming to Kotor with my family for years, but now we're thinking of changing the location and I think it will be Ulcinj this time. We also found promotional airline tickets here at the stand, so expect us during the summer," said one of the visitors.

A visitor to the stand who had not been to Montenegro in over 20 years said that when she stood by the stand and saw all the photos and promotional materials, she felt like she had returned to a beautiful part of her youth.

"A vacation in Montenegro must be part of my future plans," she said.

As it is added, visitors to the Montenegrin stand enjoyed a diverse gastronomic offer, musical performances and activities for children.

In addition, visitors had the opportunity to learn about special fair discounts on tourist packages, promotional prices for air tickets of the national carrier Air Montenegro on the Belgrade-Podgorica/Tivat route, as well as to participate in the One company's prize game and win interesting gifts.

In addition to NTO, the offer is also presented at the fair by strategic partners One Montenegro, the Budva Riviera hotel group and the national airline Air Montenegro, local tourist organizations of Gusinje, Berane, Rožaje, Andrijevica, Plav, Žabljak, Mojkovac, Kolašin, Pljevlja, Bijelo Polje, Podgorica, the Royal Capital of Cetinje, Nikšić, Danilovgrad, Kotor, Tivat, Herceg Novi, Bar and Budva, the Public Company Morsko dobro, the Montenegrin Ski Resorts, the Wulfenia Kolašin, Swiss Hotel and Movenpick hotels.
