The construction of the Lokanda Hotel will bring at least 60 new jobs to Cetinje, announced the Mayor of the Royal Capital, Nikola Đurašković, adding that it will be one of the most representative hotels in Montenegro.
"When we reopen the doors of Lokanda, it will not just be the return of a hotel - it will be the return of a symbol, a way of life, a piece of the soul of our Cetinje, as proof that anything can be achieved when there is vision, determination and a shared will to not only preserve history, but also rewrite it," said Đurašković.
The Assembly of the Royal Capital of Cetinje adopted today a decision to approve the Proposal for a Decision on the Award of a Public-Private Partnership Contract and a Public-Private Partnership Contract, which creates the conditions for the start of construction of the Lokanda Hotel, an underground garage, and the reconstruction of the existing Artists' Square.
Deputy Mayor Marko Brnović informed the councilors that the public call for the construction of the Lokanda hotel received an offer from the Talija company, which operates under the name of the Casa del Mare hotel group.
This is a Montenegrin boutique hotel brand with more than a decade of experience in providing authentic and luxurious stays on the coast.
"The Casa del Mare hotel group, whose capital is exclusively based and expanded on the foundations of the hotel and catering profession and which employs young people by constantly investing in their knowledge and skills, is the leading company in the region for managing small hotels with up to 50 accommodation units, giving them a unique stamp and recognition," said Brnović.
At today's session, councilors considered and adopted several important proposals.
