The Tenants' Association - Moj dom invited interested citizens, experts and potential founders to apply to participate in an innovative and socially responsible project to establish a housing cooperative.
They explained that the goal of the cooperative is to provide safe, affordable, and long-term housing for all members.
The cooperative, as announced, should deal with renting apartments and renting them out to tenants on favorable terms, buying and selling apartments to members with the support of banks, building apartments for rent and sale on favorable terms, as well as guaranteeing housing loans.
Its activities include managing real estate owned by the cooperative and cooperating with state and international housing funds.
They invited tenants interested in safer and more affordable housing, experts in the fields of real estate, law, construction or economics, investors who want to become part of a non-profit housing model, as well as lawyers with experience in the field of cooperative and housing law, to participate in forming housing cooperatives.
