The events at the public auction in the premises of the Coastal State Administration in Budva are a clear indication that the government has bad and hidden intentions towards Ulcinj, said the president of the Ulcinj committee of the Civic Movement URA, Omer Bajraktari.
He spoke out after the company "Eagle Hills Montenegro", backed by Arab capital, made the highest financial offers for the lease of more than ten beaches on Velika Plaza.
"I think it is finally clear to every citizen of Ulcinj that this government has bad and hidden intentions for our city, and that this has been clearly demonstrated today. It is the practice that such companies and such investors do not enter without the support of the government," said the former mayor of Ulcinj.

He also says that "this policy would not survive without the support", as he stated, of "faithful coalition partners" within the Government itself, including "some representatives of national parties from Ulcinj".
"Such governments of Montenegro do not survive without the support of their loyal coalition partners, that is, our people of Ulcinj from the national parties in it, who, through such actions, consciously become direct and indirect culprits for destroying the future of our city and our state," Bajraktari said.
He warned of the consequences that, in his words, Ulcinj will suffer due to "the politics of spite and personal interests."
"The politics of spite and personal interests always has its price, and today's price for Ulcinj will be enormous," said Bajraktari.
