According to information from "Vijesti", the Prime Minister is also expected to meet with the heads of political parties, with whom he will allegedly discuss the recently concluded tender of the Public Company for Coastal Zone Management for the lease of the beach.
In that public auction, the company "Eagle Hills", backed by Arab capital, won the bid for nine mostly connected beaches on Velika Plaza, which caused outrage in the southernmost municipality. Those who had been tenants for decades also lost out in the race for the beaches.
Mohamed Alabar, founder of Emaar Properties and president of Eagle Hills Properties, said that any beach on Ulcinj's Velika Plaza Beach that may be leased in the Coastal Zone tender will be returned to the previous tenants for use at the same price.
Despite this, tourism workers and political representatives of Ulcinj believe that the tender was non-transparent, that it should be canceled and the contracts for this year should be annexed, so that the beaches are ready for the upcoming season.

Spajić's visit to Ulcinj comes ahead of an extraordinary session of the Ulcinj Municipal Assembly on Friday, which will discuss the tender and a large protest rally announced by the tenants of the beach, restaurants and facilities in the coastal zone, which is scheduled for Saturday.
A delegation of the Municipality of Ulcinj and representatives of Albanian parties, led by Nimanbegu, met with Spajić in Podgorica last week.

Nimanbegu said at a press conference the day before yesterday that he insists that the recently completed tender for the lease of the bathing area be annulled and that the contracts with the previous tenants be annexed, so that Ulcinj remains a competitive destination. He emphasized that Ulcinj remains consistent with its principles and the common position of all coastal municipalities regarding the program of Temporary Facilities in the Coastal Zone.
Nimanbegu confirmed that last Friday, in the office of Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, he met with Alabaro, the owner of the company "Eagle Hills".
Spajić's office said last week that there was no legal basis for canceling the tender.
""It is important, first of all, that the local community is satisfied, but also that everything is legal. Based on the information so far, there were no procedural shortcomings in this process. On the other hand, we understand the concerns of part of the local community and we are open to further dialogue that would include potential new tenants," said the Prime Minister.
