The tender commission for the procedure for awarding concessions for the right to use the Podgorica and Tivat airports has unanimously decided to extend the deadline for submitting bids within the second phase of the procedure until May 7, announced the chairman of the commission, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Minister of Economic Development Nik Đeljošaj.
He says that the decision was made after considering the requests of qualified bidders from the first phase of the procedure for an extension of the initially defined deadline for submitting bids, which was April 4th.
"Deciding on this initiative, although some of the bidders requested a significant extension of the deadline, the Tender Commission assessed that the extension until May 7th was optimal and in line with the complexity of the procedure and the importance of the project. It is important to point out that the extension of the deadline will not negatively affect the further course of the procedure, but will instead enable bidders to prepare the highest quality bids, which will be subject to detailed evaluation, in accordance with the already defined criteria and conditions of the procedure," Đeljošaj announced.
