The Electric Power Company of Montenegro (EPCG) has signed four key contracts that will improve transport infrastructure and modernize work processes in Pluzine, while also strengthening the company's position as a leader in the country's energy and industrial transformation, the company announced.

EPCG said that one of the largest infrastructure projects that the company is launching is the second phase of construction of the roundabout in the Plužine settlement.

"The investment value of 8,46 million euros testifies to the seriousness of the approach to the modernization of this region, and the works will be carried out by the company BEMAX. This project will not only improve traffic flow in Plužine, but will also bring new opportunities for the development of the local economy," the statement said.

It is stated that EPCG, in order to ensure efficiency in the field, is investing in top-notch equipment.

"The contract with the company Eurozox from Danilovgrad will provide a mobile crushing plant, worth 544,5 thousand euros, which will significantly improve material processing and accelerate work on projects," the statement added.

EPCG stated that power and precision on construction sites are gaining a new dimension with the purchase of a hydraulic crawler excavator.

This machine, whose value is 254,1 thousand euros, as they said, is being purchased through a contract with TEKNOXGROUP Montenegro.

"The ability to handle the most demanding terrain will make it an irreplaceable resource in future projects," EPCG said.

They stated that the successful implementation of investments also requires adequate logistics, which is why EPCG is investing 222,6 thousand EUR in a dump truck and a low-loader trailer, through a contract with the company BEN-KOV from Tivat.

"This acquisition enables easier transportation of work machinery and equipment, further increasing the company's operational efficiency," the statement said.

Executive Director of EPCG Ivan Bulatović emphasized that each of these investments represents a step forward in terms of the development of Montenegro, especially those areas in which our company has production facilities.

"Our mission is to constantly raise standards and invest in the future, because we know that this is the only way we can ensure an energy-stable and economically prosperous Montenegro," said Bulatović.

The signing ceremony was also attended by the President of the Municipality of Plužine, Slobodan Delić, who emphasized the importance of these projects for the local community and its further development.
