For a better quality of life for our citizens, investments alone are not enough, but we also need to use the knowledge and experience that made the largest economies such, said Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, during a meeting with the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai, Mohammed bin Rashid.
Spajić's cabinet announced that the UAE Prime Minister, during talks in Dubai, confirmed his country's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Montenegro at all levels.
As assessed at the meeting, the signed agreements will also contribute to this, as they "open up opportunities for joint action in numerous areas of mutual interest."
"I firmly believe that your visit and the signed agreements will contribute to prosperity in relations between the two countries. We are ready to share our knowledge and experience, and to support Montenegro in all fields," the ruler of Dubai emphasized, as stated in the statement.
Spajić thanked for the reception and "apostrophized the fact that the rise of the UAE came through the true vision of attracting great minds and practicing the world's best practices," it added.
"We want to learn from your example and improve Montenegro. For a better quality of life for our citizens, investments alone are not enough, but we also need to use the knowledge and experience that made the largest economies such," he said.
During the conversation, it was noted that the UAE is "one of the most significant investors" in Montenegro, but also that "numerous projects are expected with great optimism in the near future."
"The establishment of direct air connections throughout the year, which was one of the topics of the meeting, will also contribute to strengthening relations. In this regard, Prime Minister Spajić noted that good connections with other major centers have contributed to the progress of the UAE," the statement reads.
The Prime Minister extended an invitation to Al Maktoum to officially visit Montenegro.
