Ivanovic and Khachaturian: Improving political and economic cooperation

Relations between Montenegro and Armenia are strong, but there is room for their further improvement, especially in the field of economy and tourism, it was stated at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanović and Armenian President Vahan Khachaturian.

The Government announced that Khachaturian thanked Ivanovic for his visit to Armenia, emphasizing the importance of strengthening relations between the two countries.

"During the conversation, it was confirmed that relations are already strong, but that there is room for their further improvement, especially in the areas of economy and tourism," the statement said.

Khachaturian emphasized that political dialogue and mutual visits further contribute to deepening connections between the states and peoples of the two countries.

As announced, special emphasis was placed on the development of business relations and the improvement of tourism connections.

In this context, in addition to the extended visa-free regime for Armenian citizens and this year's increase in air connections between the capitals, the possibility of establishing direct air routes throughout the year was discussed.
