The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management has announced, in accordance with the Agrobudget, a call for support for improving the quality of raw milk for this year.
The support is intended for agricultural holdings, which must be registered in the register of agricultural holdings no later than May 23rd, the deadline for the public call.
The beneficiaries of the support are agricultural holdings engaged in milk production, which they deliver to registered dairies and cheese factories, as well as those engaged in the production of dairy products that they place on the market.
Support can be used to purchase equipment that will contribute to preserving the hygienic quality of raw milk, such as milking equipment, milk cooling equipment, stainless steel milk buckets, somatic cell count control agents, udder disinfection and hygiene agents and dippers, before and after milking, and udder cleaning agents.
The maximum acceptable investment is six thousand euros with budget support of up to 50 percent of the value of the acceptable investment for the purchase of milking equipment, milk buckets and disinfection products, or up to three thousand euros.
Support for the purchase of milk cooling equipment amounts to up to 70 percent of the eligible investment, or 4.200 euros.
"In addition to the basic amount of support, an additional ten percent of the amount of eligible investment is realized by agricultural producers registered in the register of entities in organic production (livestock farming), ending on December 31," the invitation states.
An additional ten percent is achieved by female applicants.
Support is realized at the end of the investment in the form of a refund of invested funds, and after administrative and on-site control.
The public call will end earlier if all funds provided for by the measure are spent.
The Ministry has announced two more calls - for support for the acquisition of purebred breeding animals and support for achieving animal welfare standards.
More detailed criteria and conditions for exercising the right to support through these public calls and application forms are published on the Ministry's website.
