The Democratic People's Party (DNP) will only declare its support for the agreements signed by the Government with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after all dilemmas in this process have been clarified.
This was announced by DNP MP Vladislav Bojović after consultations on the issue with Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.
Bojović did not want to reveal all the parts of the agreement that create dilemmas for them today, but he emphasized that they do not want a problematic project that would jeopardize the European path.
"At the meeting with the Prime Minister, we expressed certain dilemmas or reservations that we have regarding the announced investment, and depending on how they are clarified, we will take a position," said Bojović.
He added that at the last party presidency, they decided that DNP leader Milan Knežević would send a letter to European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos - so that she would state that the agreements, ratification and future contracts are in line with European standards and legislation.
"We would not like any problematic project to jeopardize Montenegro's European path," he stressed, adding that in recent days they have expressed positions and dilemmas that are identical to what the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission (EC) Kaja Kalas said yesterday.
He emphasized that DNP supports every investment that improves the investment environment, reduces unemployment, and affects GDP growth...
