The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) will comment on the agreement with the United Arab Emirates after the document is submitted to the Parliament. It is not against investments, but it is important to preserve the interests of citizens and Montenegro.
This was stated by DPS MP Nikola Milović, after consultations on this issue with Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.
"When the agreements come into parliamentary procedure, as a responsible party, we will act on everything related to the agreements and inform the public about it. Once we have all the relevant information and have reviewed the entire situation, we will then make a decision. We are not against investments, but we want to see the interests of citizens, the state and local communities protected," said Milović.
He emphasized that they will support investments and credible investors, but that they want agreements to be made in a transparent manner and aligned with the interests of citizens.
Milović stated that they consider the invitation to the talks to be a responsible move, in order to obtain all information about the agreements and projects, and that he believes that they will soon find themselves in the parliamentary procedure.
