Montenegro offers numerous investment opportunities, especially in the field of tourism, said the Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates, Abdulla Bin Touk Al Mari.
Minister of Tourism Simonida Kordić met with him during her visit to the UAE.
"During the conversation, the interlocutors exchanged opinions on current geopolitical developments and their significant impact on tourism at the global level. Both sides emphasized that strong bilateral relations and the continued development of cooperation between Montenegro and the UAE are of key importance for further progress in the field of tourism and the economy," the Ministry of Tourism announced.
Al Mari, they said, praised the natural beauty and investment potential of Montenegro.
Minister Kordić informed her interlocutor that the development of a new Tourism Strategy for Montenegro is underway, which aims to achieve balanced development of all regions.
"In addition to the already established coastal part, Kordić pointed to the potential of the northern part of the country for the development of mountain, winter, rural, adventure and other forms of tourism, while the central region offers advantages for MICE tourism," the statement reads.
The meeting was also attended by State Secretary Vuk Žižić.
