Air Montenegro ended last year with a positive business result, achieving a profit of 540.000 euros, the company announced.
Air Montenegro said that the company's total revenue last year amounted to 62,82 million euros, which, they say, represents an increase of 0,8 percent compared to the previous year.
"Last year, the company operated to 19 regular destinations, which is one more destination than in 2023, and a total of 5.796 flights were realized, with an increase of 8,3 percent. The number of passengers transported also increased - during 2024, the Montenegrin national airline transported 498.833 passengers in regular and charter traffic, which is an increase of five percent. The average passenger cabin occupancy was 69,2 percent and is 1,2 percent higher than in 2023," the statement reads.
They point out that positive business trends continued in the first quarter of this year.
"AirMontenegro operated a total of 940 flights in the period January-March, which is 27 percent more than in the same period in 2024. In the first quarter, 75.306 passengers were transported, with an impressive growth of 44 percent compared to the first three months of the previous year. The average passenger cabin occupancy also increased significantly and is 70,65 percent, which is 17 percent more than in the same period in 2024," the statement said.
"A positive business result in 2024 and a strong start to 2025 show that Air Montenegro is on a clear path of growth and development. We are focused on further improving Montenegro's offer and connectivity with the region and key European destinations," said Air Montenegro CEO Vukadin Stojanović.
