The agreement with the United Arab Emirates opens up opportunities that do not come along often, and it is a chance that as a serious country we must not miss, said Filip Radulović, member of the Presidency of the Europe Now Movement and Minister of Maritime Affairs.
He says that Montenegro is "more than ready" for new investments, new jobs and a better standard of living.
"The agreement with the UAE confirms the determination of the Government of Montenegro to, together with very credible partners, strive towards valorizing tourism potential and expanding the offer, from which we as a country will have multiple benefits in the long term," Radulović announced.
He said that projects such as Porto Montenegro, Portonog and Luštica Bay show that the development of tourism offers leads to significant economic benefits for the state and local communities.
"The implementation of these projects has benefited coastal municipalities in numerous ways. In addition to the fact that municipal budgets have increased by up to four times, new jobs have been created and the entire tourism offer has been improved. In this way, Montenegro is becoming a very attractive tourist destination, but also a desirable and reliable partner for all credible investors who are ready to invest their capital," adds Radulović.
He said that foreign investment is the key to the growth of our economy.
"It is encouraging that today we have a potential investor who, in addition to the south, also wants to invest in the north of the country, whose development is one of the priorities of this Government. In this way, we influence the creation of new value, but we also solve the key problems of the north, which are the outflow of population and regional disparity. The agreement with the UAE opens up opportunities that do not come along often, which is why this is an opportunity that we, as a serious country, must not miss! Foreign investments are the key to the growth of our economy. Together we can build a better future," Radulović said.
