The state-owned company "Monteput" announced that the adoption of documents on the impacts of the planned route of the Bar-Boljare highway, the Mateševo-Andrijevica section, on the environment and social environment is in the final phase.
The documents in question are: Environmental and Social Impact Assessment with a non-technical summary, Stakeholder Engagement Plan, Framework for Expropriation Implementation, Report on Consultations and Public Meetings Conducted to Date, Environmental and Social Impact Management Plan.
The documents are available in electronic form at on the "Monteput" website, website Municipality of Kolašin, as well as on the website Municipality of Andrijevica, in Montenegrin and English.
Printed versions of the documents in Montenegrin can be obtained for inspection at the premises of "Monteput", the municipalities of Kolašin and Andrijevica, and in the local offices of the settlements through whose territory the planned route passes: Mateševo, Bare Kraljske and Sunga, and Gnjili Potok, Kralje, Slatina, Sjenožeta and Andrijevica.
"Monteput" invited all interested individuals, groups of citizens, associations, entrepreneurs, institutions and organizations to submit their comments, questions and objections in writing no later than May 20th, to the address "Monteput" doo (office@monteput.me) or by delivering them to the presidents of local offices who will forward them to that company, or by submitting a written objection on the day of the public hearing.
Public consultations, which will include a presentation and discussion of the aforementioned documents, will be held from May 22nd to 29th in local communities through whose territories the highway route passes.
"Citizens will be informed in a timely manner about the exact date of the public consultations on the websites of 'Monteput', the municipalities of Kolašin and Andrijevica, as well as on bulletin boards in local offices/settlements, municipalities and through print and electronic media and local TV and radio stations. For any additional information, you can contact representatives of Monteput doo and/or the president of your local community," the statement reads.
