Several domestic stores, considered to be the leading ones in the country, reported a net profit of 35,1 million euros at the end of last year, of which two retail chains accounted for 27,6 million, the Action for Social Justice announced.
As stated by the non-governmental organization (NGO), this is shown by the financial statements of those companies.
ASP stated that the company "Voli Trade" showed the highest profit last year, amounting to 16,3 million euros.
"At the end of last year, it reported 44 million euros in accumulated profit, and also reported a dividend payment of 5,5 million euros," ASP said in a statement.
It is reported that the company today published its financial statement for last year, in which it showed an average number of employees during 2024 of 2.367.
ASP said that the company "Hard Discount Laković" last year showed a net profit of 11,3 million, and has accumulated profits of 41,7 million euros.
"It did not report a dividend payment, and on average it employed 1.601 employees last year," the statement added.
The company "Idea-CG", as stated by ASP, reported a profit of 2024 million euros in 4,7.
"This retail chain reduced its accumulated loss last year from 20 million euros in 2023 to 15,1 million in 2024. At the end of last year, it had 2.519 employees," the ASP statement said.
The NGO stated that the company "Franca Marketi" achieved 598 thousand net profit last year.
"Its retained earnings amount to 11,7 million euros, and over the past year it has had an average number of employees of 52," ASP said.
According to them, the trading company "Domaća trgovina" achieved a net profit of 2,3 million euros last year.
"It reduced its accumulated loss from 25,9 million euros in 2023 to 23,5 million last year, and at the end of which it reported employing 1.323 workers," the statement said.
