The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management has announced a public call for support for investments in primary plant production, for the viticulture component.
When establishing new and/or expanding existing vineyards, the minimum quantity of grapevine planting material must be 500 pieces.
The deadline for submitting applications is October 31st.
Eligible investments relate to the purchase of certified planting material, irrigation systems including water pumps, support elements for growing (poles and wire), supports - reinforcement for newly planted vines, anti-hail and bird protection nets.
The minimum investment amount is 500 euros.
The maximum acceptable investment is 10.000 euros, with budget support of up to 60 percent of the value of the acceptable investment, or up to 6.000 euros.
In addition to the 60 percent support amount, an additional ten percent, or a total of 70 percent, will be available to agricultural producers registered in the Register of Organic Production Entities for the production area in which the application for support is submitted, as of December 31 of last year.
An additional ten percent is achieved by women holding agricultural farms.
