The Union of Free Trade Unions (USSCG) will organize a May Day Gala Academy on Wednesday, on the occasion of International Labor Day.
The ceremony will be held in the blue hall of the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro, starting at 12 noon.
"Representatives of the Government, line ministries, social partners, the non-governmental sector and trade union organizations of the Union of Socialist Federal States of Montenegro (USSCG) have been invited to the event, with an appropriate cultural and artistic program," the statement said.
As part of the ceremony, the May Day Trade Union Award for the most outstanding trade union activist will be presented, as well as the same award for the most outstanding trade union organization.
As they reminded, since its inception, the USSCG has been celebrating International Labor Day in an appropriate manner, with protest walks, protest gatherings, and launching campaigns on topics of importance to the world of work and the overall social environment.
