The Government of Montenegro is focused on improving infrastructure, which represents the backbone of the country's economic development and one of the key areas for bilateral cooperation, said Minister of Public Works Majda Adžović.
She spoke today with the Ambassador of Hungary to Montenegro, József Neđesi.

Adžović, as announced by the Ministry of Public Works, presented the key competencies of that department, emphasizing its role in establishing efficient interdepartmental communication and coordination with line ministries, as well as in the preparation, signing and implementation of projects of importance for the development of Montenegro.
It is stated that special attention is focused on projects of strategic importance, which form the foundation of modernization and sustainable growth.
"The Minister emphasized the priority orientation of the Government of Montenegro towards improving infrastructure, which represents the backbone of the country's economic development and one of the key areas for bilateral cooperation," the statement said.
Neđeši, as reported, expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between the two countries so far and praised the open and constructive dialogue with Montenegrin institutions.
He reiterated Hungary's strong support for Montenegro on its path towards full membership in the European Union, emphasizing that Hungary sees Montenegro as a reliable partner in the region.
"The interlocutors agreed on the need to intensify mutual cooperation, especially with regard to concluding interstate agreements, bearing in mind the mutual interest in deepening ties in the areas of digitalization, infrastructure, energy, etc.," the statement said.
