The government purchased a building in the center of Pljevlja from the bankruptcy administration of the company "Vektra Jakić" for the needs of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in that city.
A purchase and sale agreement worth 403.370 euros was signed yesterday in Pljevlja by the bankruptcy administrator of "Vektra Jakić" Dejan Keković and Director of the State Property Administration Koča Đurišić.
Keković confirmed to "Vijesti" that the contract has been signed and that the Government has paid the money.
"The money from the sale will be used to cover part of the costs of the bankruptcy proceedings, and the rest will be paid to the mortgage creditor, OTP Bank," said Keković.
The State Property Administration was the only one to submit an offer for the purchase of the office building in the center of Pljevlja, which has housed the ODT in that city for years.
The administration submitted a bid for the amount of 403.370 euros, which was the starting price at which the former administrative building of the company "Građevinar" was being sold.
On March 15, Keković advertised the sale of an office building at a price of 403.370 euros, which is about 21 thousand euros less than the price at which the property was sold in the previous two advertisements.
In the meantime, the Government has approved the purchase of a building for the Pljevlja Public Prosecutor's Office. The Government's approval was needed so that money from the current budget reserve could be used for its purchase, given that no money was allocated for that purpose in this year's budget.
"The money from the sale will be used to cover part of the costs of the bankruptcy proceedings, and the rest will be paid to the mortgage creditor, OTP Bank," said Keković.
A first-line mortgage was registered on the building in the city center in favor of OTP Bank and its subsidiary bank in Montenegro, Crnogorska komercijalna banka, due to a debt of 53.000.000 euros owed by Brković's other company, "Vektra Montenegro". The contract for this mortgage was concluded in November 2007 and included a prohibition on alienation and encumbrance by fiduciary transfer of ownership rights in favor of "Vektra Jakić" for a loan from "Vektra Montenegro" in the amount of 73.000.000 euros, with the final repayment date of 31 December 12.
The two-story building in the center of Pljevlja was purchased in 2007 by the company of a Podgorica businessman. Dragan Brković, and for more than thirteen years the tenant has been the ODT in Pljevlja. The contract for the lease of the business premises was concluded on 4 July 7 between “Vektra Jakić” and the then Property Administration.
The lease agreement was extended several times, and the space was completely repurposed for the needs of the Pljevlja ODT.
