Monteput: Ten bids received for the tender for the second section of the highway

In the first phase of the main tender for the design and execution of works on the Bar-Boljare highway, section Mateševo ​​- Andrijevica, ten bids were received, the state-owned company Monteput announced today.

Monteput said that they submitted offers:

1. Cengiz-Azvirt Joint Venture Consortium (Turkey/Azerbaijan);

2. Makyol-Dogus JV Consortium (Turkey);

3. China Communications Construction Company Limited (Kina);

4. Afcons Infrastructure Limited (Indija);

5. Sichuan Road & Bridge (Group) Corporation Ltd. (Kina);

6. Consortium JV PowerChina Ltd. – Stecol – PCCD (China);

7. Consortium Ballast Nedam Infra BV – Rec Uluslararasi – Onur JV (Netherlands/Turkey);

8. Konzorcijum MCC Transportation Construction Group Co. Ltd. – Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation Ltd. (Kina);

9. Consortium JV Xingtai Road & Bridge – Guangxi Road Construction – Makimsan (China/Turkey);

10. SFETC & SDLQ Joint Venture Consortium (China).

"In the coming weeks, the evaluation of technical bids will follow, during which all submitted data and documentation will be analyzed in detail. After the completion of this phase, qualified bidders will be invited to submit financial bids. The evaluation of bids is being conducted by Monteput, in accordance with the rules and procedures of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which ensures oversight and transparency of the process," Monteput said in a statement.

The company said that the final approval for the selection of the most favorable bid is given by the EBRD.

"The estimated value of the works on the Mateševo–Andrijevica highway section is 550 million euros, while the exact amount will be known after the completion of the second phase of the tender procedure," Monteput said in a statement.
