Montenegrin producers won a total of 199 awards at the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, including two major trophies, the Chamber of Commerce (PKCG) announced.
PKCG participates in the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, one of the most important of its kind in the region.
Within the national stand, the Chamber represents the Montenegrin economy through the promotion of domestic producers in the fields of agriculture, food industry and rural tourism.
"Participation in this prestigious event provides Montenegrin companies with the opportunity to establish new business contacts, exchange knowledge and experiences, as well as promote authentic products and potential of Montenegro on the regional market," said the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Montenegro.
A total of 56 manufacturers from Montenegro sent samples of their products for evaluation, which earned as many as 199 awards. 16 manufacturers are exhibiting their products at the stand.
The Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Montenegro, Mitar Bajčeta, said that at this year's fair, Montenegrin manufacturers won a total of 199 awards, including two major trophies.
"If we take into account the size of the Montenegrin market compared to the rest of the region, we consider this result to be extremely successful," said Bajčeta.
Of the 199 awards, the most were gold medals, 102, followed by 19 large gold medals, 42 silver medals, and ten bronze medals.
In addition, two major championship cups, three silver cups, four Novi Sad Fair cups, eight quality charters and plaques, seven championship titles in various product groups, as well as two diplomas with special recognition were won.
"These results clearly confirm the quality, tradition and innovation of Montenegrin manufacturers, but also their commitment to being recognizable and competitive in the demanding regional market," said the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Montenegro.
According to Bajčeta, the participation of Montenegrin companies at this fair has multiple significance.
"Regional cooperation is of great importance for our exhibitors, as it enables them to promote products, expand the market and gain new experiences. PKCG has been actively participating and organizing the appearance of Montenegrin producers at the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad for 15 years. Fairs are just one of the forms of support we provide to our farmers," said Bajčeta.
He reminded that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Montenegro is currently implementing the "Buy Ours" campaign, with the aim of empowering Montenegrin producers and raising awareness among citizens about the importance of purchasing domestic products and their contribution to the development of the Montenegrin economy.
