The Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), Irena Radović, has lost the trust of those who elected her to that position and the only rational move is her resignation, said the spokesperson for the Democratic Party of Socialists, Miloš Nikolić.
The Parliament did not elect Gordana Kalezić and Milan Remiković as vice governors of the Central Bank of Montenegro today because neither candidate received the necessary support from MPs.
"The fact that the two vice governors of the Central Bank of Montenegro proposed by Radović were not elected represents a new collapse of the parliamentary majority and confirmation that the fight for seats, in the absence of any common vision, is the only cohesive factor holding them together," Nikolić stated on the social network X.

He said that after this development of events, it is clear that Radović has lost the trust of those who elected her to this position and that the only rational move is her expected resignation.
"If that is not the case, it will be clear that Radović has joined the ranks of those who throw integrity and dignity underfoot for the sake of a chair and banal official privileges," said Nikolić.
