Elektroprivreda has announced a tender worth 1.996.500 euros for the reconstruction of the road from the Pljevlja Thermal Power Plant (TEP) to the Maljevac landfill, through which a local road, one-way and two-way street with a total length of 1,68 kilometers will be reconstructed.
The tender for this job was announced in early June and will last until early July.
The main design of the roads for the transport of TEP by-products has already been done by “Geotechnics Projects & Consulting”, while the revision was done by the company “Projectman”. Through this project, a two-way road from the loading point within the TEP area to the Maljevac landfill will be reconstructed, with a length of 1,21 kilometers, 361 meters of local road and a one-way road 100 meters long.
The company selected for this job will have a minimum of three and a maximum of five months to complete it, while it will have to guarantee the project for two years. In addition, the contractor must provide a bid guarantee of two percent of the estimated tender value, as well as a bank guarantee for the proper execution of the contract of ten percent of the contract value.
The tender documentation states that it is necessary to relocate the existing lighting, namely 26 poles, and install them according to the Elektroprivreda design and place them at a distance of 20 meters. It also states that bushes up to ten centimeters thick, trees of all thicknesses, branches will be cut, and trees will be cut to the proper length.
"Trees, for which the supervisory authority determines, must remain and must not be damaged. In order to prevent damage to the trees that remain, the remaining ones should be cut down in a way that prevents damage. If it is necessary to prevent damage to other trees or property, the trees should be carefully cut down from the top down. The contractor is obliged to eliminate at his own expense all defects in the performed works, installed materials and equipment, within ten days of receiving written comments," the documentation states.
In the event that the contractor is behind schedule due to his own fault, he will have to pay a daily penalty of two per mille, or 0,2 percent of the total value of the works. This would mean a fine of almost 4.000 euros per day, while the total fines may not exceed ten percent of the total value of the contract.
