The Committee for Tourism, Agriculture, Ecology and Spatial Planning adopted a decision on the control hearing of the Minister of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property, Slaven Radunović, and the Minister of Tourism, Simonida Kordić.
At the request of part of the opposition, they will be heard on the topic of signing the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Tourism and Real Estate Development between Montenegro and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
MPs voted on the decision at today's Committee meeting.
Civic Movement URA MP Ana Novaković Đurović stated that she expected the hearing to be held before the second vote on this Agreement, while Committee Chairman Dejan Đurović added that the session was scheduled as soon as possible.
The Democratic Party of Socialists said that this issue has been on the table for a month, and that Radunović and Kordić, given their positions, have never spoken out about the Agreement and the project. They also agree that this hearing should have been scheduled earlier.
Europe Now Movement MP Milan Zečević stated that he would support any control hearing.
