The Luxembourg-American company Corporación América Airports (CAAP), which is one of the bidders in the tender for the concession for Montenegrin airports, will be obliged to submit to the Tender Commission its financial offer in an Excel file, which it submitted in paper form.
This was decided today at a session of the Tender Committee, which will continue its work upon receiving that document, "Vijesti" learned from sources familiar with the procedure.
"The deadline for submitting this report is five working days," a source told "Vijesti", adding that the minutes from the previous session were also verified today.
At the session of the Tender Commission for the award of concessions for Montenegrin airports, which ended on Tuesday, financial bids were opened.
As "Vijesti" previously reported, from sources familiar with the procedure, the second bidder, Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC), is offering 100 million in fixed compensation for the airports and 35 percent of annual revenues as a variable concession fee through a financial offer.
"The Luxembourg-American company Corporación América Airports (CAAP) is offering 101 million in fixed compensation and just over 17 percent of annual revenue as variable compensation," a source told "Vijesti".
After the Tender Commission completes the evaluation of financial bids, it should prepare a final report and send it to the Ministry of Transport and the Government for a final decision on whether to accept a bid or cancel the tender.
It is planned that the airports will be leased for a period of 30 years.
The tender was announced in 2019.
