Đeljošaj: The Ministry can submit a decision on the most favorable offer for concessions to the Government no earlier than July 25th

The President of the Tender Commission for the award of concessions for Montenegrin airports and the Minister of Economic Development, Nik Đeljošaj, announced that the information published regarding the Tender Commission for the implementation of the concession award procedure for Montenegrin airports is "incorrect".

"If the Tender Commission adopts the decision and submits it to the competent ministry within the deadline - and I expect that this will be implemented within the stipulated deadline - the competent ministry is obliged to publish the decision on its website and forward it to the bidders. The competent ministry must wait a period of 15 days, during which time the bidders have the right to appeal the Tender Commission's decision," said Đeljošaj.

He explained that if there are no appeals, the competent ministry can submit the decision to the Government on July 25th at the earliest.

"In the event of an appeal, the competent concessions commission has 30 days to decide on the appeal. No one's undertaken obligation or haste can be above the law," stated Đeljošaj.
