The leader of the Democratic People's Party, Milan Knežević, announced that the coalition "For the Future of Montenegro" will not support amendments to the Law on Corporate Income Tax and will abstain.

He cited the reason for this as the fact that some of the deputies from the Bosniak Party and the European Movement did not vote for the Amnesty Bill.

Knežević submitted that law to the parliamentary procedure.

He said that we are "learning democracy" and that they will propose the amnesty law again.

"We did not influence anyone, nor are we asking for support from anyone. We just thought it was not correct to vote in this way at a time when my colleague Mandić and I are having, I can say, historic talks with Prime Minister Spajić," he said.

Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Boris Pejović asked, on behalf of the PES caucus, to postpone the vote on this agenda item. At Pejović's request, Speaker of the Parliament Andrija Mandić granted a 30-minute break.

Bosniak Party MP Amer Smailović said that, "in the sea of laws" they received in recent days, it was difficult to focus on each item individually and "vote on each one as it should." "We are voting on what is most important, which are European laws, to have them completed by a certain deadline, and we are committed to that goal," he said.
