The completion of the Žarski ski center project will contribute to the additional valorization of Mojkovac's natural resources, and the municipality will take its rightful place on the regional map of ski centers, the Ministry of Public Works said.
Government representatives - Vice President for Infrastructure and Regional Development Milun Zogović, Minister of Public Works Majda Adžović and Minister of Tourism Simonida Kordić, together with the Mayor of Mojkovac Municipality Vesko Delić, visited the works at the Žarski ski center, which have resumed after five years.
The Ministry of Public Works reminds in a statement that the implementation of this project is planned in two phases. The first phase includes: carrying out works on the construction and equipping of a catering facility with access plateaus and an access path to the ski resort and the construction of the installation of infrastructure connections, while the second phase includes the construction of a parking lot for daily skiers and landscaping of the terrain.
"The completion of this project will contribute to the additional valorization of Mojkovac's natural resources, and this municipality will take its rightful place and find itself on the regional map of ski centers. Along with the implementation of additional projects, such as the continuation of highway construction and the construction of new and reconstruction of existing infrastructure, the Government of Montenegro, in cooperation with the local administration, is working to create the best possible conditions for living and working in Mojkovac," the statement reads.
