Montenegro has significant potential for tourism development through the improvement of transport infrastructure, as assessed at a meeting between the Minister of Transport Maja Vukićević, a group of investors from Egypt and representatives of the Municipality of Zeta.
At the meeting held in Podgorica, it was also announced that this type of cooperation is an important step towards a long-term economic partnership between Montenegro and Egypt.
"The topic of the conversation was cooperation between Montenegro and Egypt, with special emphasis on infrastructure projects and investment opportunities in the fields of transport and tourism," the ministry said in a statement.
Vukićević said that Montenegro recognizes the importance of international partnerships and is ready to open its doors to serious investors who want to contribute to the country's development.
The meeting discussed specific locations and potentials offered by the Municipality of Zeta, as well as other parts of Montenegro, as well as cooperation models that would enable the implementation of joint projects in accordance with applicable legislation and planning documents.
