The average July bill for electricity for households at the level of Montenegro, if unread metering points in buildings that are not permanently inhabited, are excluded, amounts to 40,19 euros, announced the Elektroprivreda (EPCG).
"Households in Pljevlja recorded the lowest average consumption of 19,97 euros, while the highest average consumption in the previous month was recorded in Ulcinj, where households consumed an average of 65,31 euros worth of electricity," the statement said.
EPCG announced that 58,51 percent of households will receive a bill worth up to 30 euros, 30 percent of consumers will receive a bill worth between 50 and 18,05 euros, 50 percent of customers will receive a bill worth between 100 and 17 euros, while consumption over 100 euros was read by 6,45 percent of customers.
"The number of consumers who received a 38 percent discount on active energy is 193,8 thousand, or 47,85 percent of households in Montenegro. Also, 254,86 thousand consumers, or 62,9 percent, received an additional 6,4 percent discount on network services," the statement said.
Households consumed 143,83 million kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity in July.
