This year's tourist season will be remembered as one of the worst in the last decade, not because citizens are not working, but because the relevant ministry is trying to hide real problems behind marketing slogans and populist statements.
This was stated by the Social Democratic Party councilor in the Tivat Municipal Assembly and representative of the European Union, Ćazim Lisičić.
He said this in response to statements by the Minister of Tourism Simonida Kordić, who said that she was satisfied with the arrangement and level of visits to the beaches and that, despite claims that the beaches are not ready and that there are no tourists, the facts show a completely different picture.
Lisičić emphasized in the statement that citizens cannot live on illusions.
"Restaurants cannot pay taxes and contributions with the minister's optimism," Lisičić pointed out.
According to him, the entire country is suffering, and the only thing growing are empty stories in front of the cameras.
"The minister's statistics say one thing, but the wallets of restaurateurs say something completely different. The season has never been worse, and she continues to assure us that everything is shining," Lisičić said on the X network.
