A group of employees of the Railway Infrastructure of Montenegro (ŽICG), consisting of more than 80 train dispatchers, remote control dispatchers (TC) and traffic dispatchers, has suspended their work and thus train traffic.
They claim that they will not do their jobs until the ŽICG management invites them to negotiate a salary increase.
The suspension officially began today at nine o'clock, and it is planned to stop several trains at the Podgorica, Bar and Bijelo Polje stations.
The representative of this group of ŽICG employees, Andrej Kaluđerović, confirmed to "Vijesti" that the train traveling from Belgrade to Bar had already been stopped at the Podgorica railway station.
They announced that the blockade would last until management invited them for a meeting.
"Vijesti" is also waiting for answers from ŽICG about the blockade and a concrete solution to this problem.
The train from Bijelo Polje was also stopped at the Podgorica station, and passengers are being transported to their destination by bus due to the blockade...
Kaluđerović emphasized that the meeting, which will be attended by the management of ŽICG, two representative unions of the company, a representative of the Ministry of Transport, and the President of the Board of Directors, is the only solution to stop the traffic suspension.
He said that they had suspended work and thus traffic on the territory of Montenegro and that several trains had been stopped.
As he says, their proposals were not adopted, and despite the difficult discussions, they received various promises from management that they would fulfill the requests.
"We are not asking for anything other than what other railway companies have - coefficients. The train dispatcher is responsible for the trains and all passengers. What an air traffic controller is to an air traffic controller, that is to a train dispatcher," he explained.
He emphasized that they have suspended work, that they will not work until management calls and the proposal is adopted.
She claims that negotiations are not ongoing and that collective agreements have already been made, and that through them the coefficients of female directors have been increased by 20 percent, which is not the same in relation to their salaries.
He emphasized that the payrolls that were made public, i.e. those announced by management, are grounds for criminal charges.
"The only solution is for management to invite us and for several of us, two representative unions, the Ministry of Transport, and the president of the board to attend the meeting," Kaluđerović said.
