Brochure "Investment Potential of Municipalities of Montenegro" published

The Ministry of Diaspora and the Union of Municipalities have produced the publication "Investment Potential of Municipalities of Montenegro".

The Union of Municipalities announced that Montenegro has received the "first comprehensive guide to investment opportunities" in all municipalities, with a clear message that our country is ready to become a new address for serious investors and partners from the diaspora.

"The brochure provides an overview of resources from the coast to the north: untouched nature, forests and fertile land, but also ports, energy potential and modern roads. Montenegro offers a stable legislative framework, a corporate tax rate of only nine percent and a wide range of fiscal and administrative incentives. For investors, this means a safe environment, and for local communities - a new chance for development," the statement reads.

Each municipality, as they explained, is presented through its strengths.

"The North is being promoted as a future center of ecotourism, energy and agriculture. The central region offers industrial zones, logistics and the IT sector. The coast remains Montenegro's strongest potential – tourism, real estate and luxury marinas. The document also clearly presents business zones that are ready to accept new projects."

Special attention, they point out, is paid to the diaspora.

"The publication offers information on return investments, tax and customs relief, employment subsidies and favorable land use conditions. The goal is to direct the capital, experience and knowledge of our people from abroad into local communities, through sustainable projects and the creation of new jobs."

They say that the diaspora is "our greatest resource."

"This brochure shows that Montenegro has a vision and openness, and that all our municipalities are ready to offer concrete projects. Every investment by our people in the diaspora is an investment in the future of the entire country. By publishing the 'Investment Potential of Municipalities of Montenegro', a clear message is sent - Montenegro is ready for growth, development and partnership," the statement reads.
