Investment Agency: Kojić appointed acting director

Mirjana Kojić has been appointed acting director of the Investment Agency of Montenegro, the agency announced today.

The statement states that Kojić was appointed based on the decision of the Council of the Investment Agency of Montenegro.

It is stated that Kojić was born in 1977 and has more than 20 years of professional experience in international cultural and business institutions in Montenegro, Serbia and Italy.

"During her career, she has held a number of management and expert positions, with a special focus on international cooperation, investment promotion, strategic planning and the implementation of complex international projects," the Investment Agency said.

The statement says that before being appointed to head the Agency, Kojić headed the Sector for International Cooperation at the Music Center of Montenegro.

"Through her personal efforts, she enabled Montenegro to receive one of the largest donations in the cultural sector in the form of equipment worth almost one million euros, through the Japanese Government's Culture Program implemented by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). During her career, she held key management positions, including the position of Secretary General of the Chamber of Italian-Serbian Businessmen, whose appointment is approved by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Italy (MAECI). She coordinated operational and strategic business and contributed to strengthening economic ties between Italy and the region. She began her professional journey in the cultural sector - international cooperation at the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region in Udine, Italy, and then collaborated on international projects at the Ministry of Economy of Montenegro and gained experience in renowned international institutions and companies, among which Deloitte Serbia stands out," the Investment Agency said.

The agency also said that Kojić is taking over the management of the Investment Agency of Montenegro with the task of contributing to the implementation of the institution's program priorities - strengthening the international recognition of Montenegro as an investment destination, improving the business environment and encouraging sustainable economic development.
