Nišić met with representatives of workers at the Ulcinj Saltworks: Find a fair solution for payment of claims

The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Dialogue is ready to enter into a more intensive dialogue with the competent institutions and representatives of the workers of the Ulcinj Saltworks, in order to find a sustainable and fair solution for the payment of all claims as soon as possible.

The relevant minister, Naida Nišić, and her associates met with representatives of workers at the Ulcinj Saltworks, with the aim of resolving the issue of payment of workers' claims.

"Nišić and her associates emphasized that state authorities are committed to transparency, accountability and efficiency in protecting workers' rights and resolving open issues," the Ministry said in a statement.

Nišić recalled that the Ministry, which she heads, has successfully resolved decades-long problems of workers of other Montenegrin companies that suffered bankruptcy and closure during the transition process.

Therefore, she is convinced that with the commitment of the state and inclusive dialogue, a sustainable solution will be reached in this case as well.
