Armenko: I invite the gentlemen from the "Yellow Rabbit" company to take a polygraph to see who is senile

A long-time tenant of the Petrovac beach "Ponta", restaurateur Ilija Armenko, rejected claims by the company "Žuti zec" that he offered them money to withdraw their offer to lease the beach, and invited them to take a polygraph test to determine who is telling the truth.

He reacted to the article "Yellow Rabbit: Armenko offered us money to give up the tender".

"I have created a destination for which Petrovac is famous and I invite the gentlemen from the 'Žuti zec' company to take a polygraph to see who is senile. I have all the necessary documentation for the construction of 'Ponta' and I am telling the gentlemen that they will never get this because I have a contract that requires me to return everything to its original condition, when I am no longer a tenant. And when I leave this place, it will be like before," Armenko emphasized.

Armenko repeated that he was asked for money.

"I recommend a polygraph, because through intermediaries, I will tell the prosecutors the name, they mentioned a figure of 100.000 euros to give them to give up the tender. The fines I paid during this season are easy to check, but I will not justify myself to anyone. The court will resolve everything so we will see who is right. They know very well where they got the racket, but they will tell the prosecutor," Armenko pointed out.

He says that if someone manages to earn 100 thousand euros in a bar on "Ponta" he is ready to give them all his property.

"But someone wants to launder money, which they will not succeed in. Therefore, I ask you gentlemen not to spread nonsense that the director of the Public Enterprise 'Morsko dobro', Mladen Mikijelj, is behind me. If Mr. Mikijelj had been on my side, I would have had a contract long ago," Armenko said.

Referring to the Rules of Procedure of a public company, Armenko emphasized that according to the regulations, if the first-ranked bidder withdraws, as was the case with "Ponta", the contract is concluded with the second-ranked bidder, which was his company "Ponta Petrovac".

"And within two days of the announcement by the public enterprise commission. So I ask the gentlemen to read the regulations and see who is right. Unfortunately, they do not want to read or do not know. Mr. Mikijelj defends state interests, but the Law on Maritime Property protects us who have invested millions in the coast. I have given this state millions in taxes and contributions for these 25 years and someone needs to evaluate that. I worked according to the laws of this state. They keep a terrace in front of the restaurant for which they also do not have a permit or they have just received it, so I did not react, because it is not my level. Whoever made offers worth millions was paid by the state with guarantees. What is disputable about that, everything was done according to the law, which the court will determine. The fact that I have a scored tender is also according to the law," Armenko stated.

He reminds us that almost a third of beaches and bars have been approved for operation this season, and these are official data from the Municipality of Budva.

"Until recently, no one had permits, so the beaches were open because whoever owns them works because it is in the public interest for the beaches to be open. Imagine if all the beaches were closed this summer, which could have happened if it weren't for Mr. Mikijelj. Although we are not on good terms, I have to tell the truth. And there are still a large number of beaches that have concluded contracts, but do not have a solution for operation, which is the case with me. That is why I will not comment further on this case, because everything was done according to the law," concluded Armenko.
