Democratic Party of Socialists MP Jevto Eraković commented on the information that pharmaceutical products in Montenegro, as reported by "Vijesti" yesterday, had an annual price increase of 14,5 percent in July, while medicines in European Union member states increased in price by 2,1 percent in the same period, and in eurozone members by 1,6 percent.
"Six times higher rate of price growth for medicines and health services in Montenegro than in European Union countries! In July, the price of medicines will increase by 14.5%! Since patients can no longer come for check-ups due to huge waiting lists, it is time for them to pay for the most expensive medicines in Europe. The incompetence of the largest government in the world needs to be compensated and salaries for all ministers, associates and other employees should be provided. Maybe the government reorganization will bring in a few more ministries...", Eraković wrote on Iks.
