September pensions will be 1,98 percent higher

September pensions, which will be paid this month, will be 1,98 percent higher, the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund (PIO) officially confirmed.

"The Management Board of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of Montenegro held its 20th session today and adopted a set of decisions on pension adjustment: Decision on pension adjustment by one personal point as of September 1, 2025, Decision on pension adjustment and cash benefits as of September 1, 2025, and Decision on the adjustment of the basis for determining cash compensation for physical impairment as of September 1, 2025. In accordance with the aforementioned decisions, pensions and cash benefits are adjusted by 1,98 percent as of September 1, 2025, while the value of a pension for one personal point is 11,89953 euros, and the basis for determining compensation for physical impairment is 458,09206 euros," the statement reads.

The September adjustment, the third this year, applies to pensioners who receive pensions above the minimum of 450 euros, as they are frozen until the end of the year.
