Željka Savković, a beneficiary of benefits for mothers with three or more children, said that they are seeking an urgent increase in these benefits.
She said that they hope and believe that the Government and Parliament are working on this, "because all patience comes to an end, including ours."
In the statement, she addressed Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, Parliament Speaker Andrija Mandić, and Deputy Prime Minister Aleksa Bečić.
"If you look and see the truth that mothers with three or more children have gone through, you will admit that no one in this country has ever been more combative and patient than the Mothers of 3+ who were deceived by the former executive, legislative and judicial authorities! And mothers who receive benefits with three or more children are experiencing inflation like all other citizens of Montenegro. All food supplies are more expensive for us. We also pay our bills. But we, unlike everyone else, have continued to receive 192 and 336 euros since January 01, 2016, 10 full years in December 2025. And we fought for it bloody on the streets, so that at least the level of what was unconstitutionally taken away in 2017 would be returned to us. It was not easy for us. Some of them are no longer alive. All those politicians who supported the Mothers of 3+ protests, addressed from the stage, and today are in office, know very well, the Speaker of the Parliament, Mr. Andrija Mandić, Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Aleksa Bečić and all those MPs and ministers who were very much with the mothers during our protests. We persisted in our fight even when they took power. They returned 192 and 336 euros to us from April 01, 2022. We stood up to those who are in the Supš prison today, those who did everything to destroy Montenegro, and declared the Mothers of Montenegro to be financial monsters and took away their acquired right, the only one for Montenegro," the statement reads.
He says that "enough waiting and patience."
"And while everyone in Montenegro has received increases in their income, pensioners, 450 euros minimum, quarterly increases, employees with minimum wages of 600 and 800 euros, old-age benefits... Mothers 3+ are still trying the impossible mission of designing their lives with 192 and 336 euros! We continue to suffer the disdain of all those who see our legally earned income as a thorn in their side. It hurts that we Mothers 3+ are not mentioned! Enough of waiting and patience! The budget for 2026 will come soon. We are demanding an urgent increase in our benefits, because we are also equal citizens of this state who are financed from the budget. We hope and believe that you are working on this, because all patience comes to an end, including ours! Or do you also think that we are the monsters of the finances of Montenegro," said Željka Savković.
