The winter driving regime for vehicles and passengers begins on the Kamenari - Lepetane ferry line today.
Departures are every 20 minutes from 6 a.m. to midnight, and every hour from midnight to 6 a.m., said Aleksandar Crvenko, manager of the Maritime and Coastal Traffic Sector of the Coastal Region, for RTHN.
Four ships will operate until 10 pm, two ships will operate from 10 am to midnight, while one ship will operate the night shift.
"The standard departures will be on the hour from the Kamenari side, and on the half hour from the Lepetani side. From midnight, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 from Kamenari, from 0.30, 1.30, 2.30, 3.30, 4.30 and 5.30 from Lepetani. Four boats will operate until 10 pm, two from 10 am to midnight, while one boat will operate the night shift. Ferry transport prices have not changed. The ferries Grbalj, Igalo, Lepetani and Kamenari are currently in operation," said Crvenko.
Ferry prices outside the main tourist season have not changed.
"Due to the increase in the price of parts and everything, we will not return the price of transportation from five to four euros because the benefits that were given to the citizens of Herceg Novi and Tivat mean a 40 percent cheaper ticket, three euros one way, and for all other citizens in Montenegro, a monthly ticket of 50 rides for 100 euros was given. In that case, the ticket price is two euros. Online tickets will remain four euros," said Crvenko.
The winter driving regime and prices are valid until May, when the summer transport regime returns.
