One of the points of the session was the initiative to dismiss Bulatović, "Vijesti" learned.

According to the newspaper, the initiative was submitted by members of the Committee from the Europe Now Movement (PES) and the Bosniak Party (BS).

Bulatović, as Vijesti learned from a source within the company, believes he was illegally dismissed.

The board of directors of the energy company appointed Bulatović as CEO for a four-year term at the end of January 2024 after the complete public competition procedure was carried out.

Bulatović replaced Nikola Rovčanin, who had previously resigned, in that position.

EPCG subsequently issued an official statement confirming that the EPCG Board of Directors dismissed Bulatović and appointed Đordan.

"The decision was made in accordance with the Statute and internal acts of EPCG, with the aim of ensuring continuity in the management of the company and the implementation of current business and investment activities," the statement states.

EPCG added that the Board of Directors will soon announce a competition for the selection of a new executive director, in accordance with the law and company procedures.

"EPCG will remain focused on implementing strategic projects in the field of energy transition, modernization and development of new capacities in the coming period, while consistently respecting the principles of transparency, accountability and professional management," the statement reads.
