The President of the Board of Directors of EPCG, Milutin Đukanović, said that in the replacement of Director Ivan Bulatović, everything was done according to the law.
Djukanovic told RTCG that he supported the dismissal of Bualtovic, although he believed that he had done a good job, because the majority of members were in favor of changes, and also in order to achieve greater unity in the Board, which is important for the functioning of this system.
Đukanović said that the decision to dismiss Bulatović was not made in a hurry, that discussions took place over a long period of time. The initiative was submitted by four members of the Board, and that he, as the president, voted for it, because the majority was in favor of his dismissal, in order to achieve the greatest possible unity, which is of exceptional importance for the development of the company.
"In my opinion, Ivan Bulatović worked very well, but the majority thought that some changes were needed and I voted for the decision to dismiss him. I think it was done according to the law, everyone has the right to challenge it, but EPCG must deal with investments and try to make electricity as cheap as possible," said Đukanović, reported the RTCG portal.
Regarding the statement by one of the Board members, Neven Gošović, that the decision is illegal, Đukanović added that the vacancy for the new director will be announced as soon as possible, probably next week.
