The Transport Administration has announced another tender for the construction of a bridge over the Tara River, on the section of the road from Podbišće in Mojkovac to the Vragodo ski resort, and this one is worth 3.751.000 euros. This is the third attempt to select a contractor for this job, after the previous two were canceled because there were no interested companies.
The value of the new tender has been increased by 551 thousand euros, as the previous ones were estimated at 3.199.240 euros.
The tender was announced a few days ago and will last until the end of November.
This project is part of the reconstruction of the Mojkovac - Lubnice road, and the bridge would open the way to the Vragodo ski resort, whose valorization the Municipality of Mojkovac has been planning for a long time. The documentation plans that the contractors will carry out the work on this section in at least 14 months, and that the construction period will not exceed two years. In addition, they must guarantee the work for at least ten years.
The first tender was in September last year and was cancelled in November, while the second was announced in early December 2024 and cancelled in January this year. This means that the contractor for this project has been waiting for a year.
The eight-kilometer section of the Mojkovac - Vragodo road was previously built by the company "Bemax", and the project cost 13,2 million euros. Minister of Tourism Simonida Kordić During a visit to Mojkovac in August last year, she said that the bridge on the Tara River is a priority project that will provide tourists in that town with better access to the "Žarski" ski resort.
The Vice President of the Municipality of Mojkovac told "Vijesti" at the beginning of October last year that the announcement of the tender for the bridge was encouraging, but that he believed it would not pass. Ivan AshaninHe stated that the tender for the ski resort base station was also announced twice, and that no one responded due to the poorly estimated tender value, and that this situation is not rare.
