The participation of Montenegrin innovative companies at the prestigious international technology event Web Summit 2025 is crucial for the further development of Montenegro's innovative community, said the owner of Pillbie, Batrić Krvavac.

The Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro (PCCG) organized for the first time the appearance of Montenegrin startups at a joint stand at the Web Summit 2025, which is taking place in Lisbon.

As announced by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Montenegro, seven Montenegrin startups - Bucketora, GoGrant, Gold Bear Technologies, Limo express, LoRaSi, My turn, Pillbie and Skenify, which are presenting themselves at a joint stand, have already attracted great interest from potential foreign partners on the first day of the summit.

The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Montenegro, Nina Drakić, stated that the event brings together over 70 thousand participants from over 150 countries around the world.

"The participation of Montenegrin startups in it is an exceptional opportunity to improve the visibility of the Montenegrin startup community on the international scene, for domestic startups to find new investors, new partners and to improve the innovative startup community in Montenegro," said Drakić.

According to her, the Montenegrin innovation community has the knowledge, potential and creativity to participate in such events.

"Through new solutions and innovations, startups contribute to improving business, simplifying processes, and increasing efficiency, and this is very important for the diversification of our economy and its further development," said Drakić.

Krvavac presented his startup Pillbie at the Montenegrin stand.

"Given that this is the largest technology event in Europe, if not beyond, I think the presence of Montenegro and innovative companies from Montenegro is crucial for the further development of our innovative community. I think it is imperative that Montenegrin startups be present at every next Web Summit," says Krvavac.

Secfix CEO Branko Džakula presents Skenify - an AI cybersecurity platform created for small and medium-sized businesses in Europe - at Web Summit.

"At Web Summit, we can show that we have innovations in a very attractive sector like cybersecurity," said Džakula.

He stated that cybersecurity is currently a major focus in Montenegro and that a lot of work is being done to raise the level of cybersecurity in the country, both in the private and public sectors.

"We from the private sector are trying to use innovations to help companies, as well as the state, to raise that level of security to a higher level as soon as possible," said Džakula.

Danilo Marić, a representative of the LoRaSi company, dedicated to developing digital twins through innovative technologies, said that at the conference they could check how innovative their idea was.

"The fact is that here we can see what other startups in Europe, but also in the world, are doing, to check how innovative our idea is, how widely applicable it is in the industry, to see what exactly investors are interested in and what is the best way to bring our idea closer to them and ultimately obtain investments and funds from them," said Murić.

He said that after today's meetings with investors, they realized that the idea was quite innovative.

"We focused on energy network monitoring, anomaly detection and performance enhancement from that network, but the solution is versatile and applicable in other industries. This solution is highly scalable and can be used to create a regional or European energy network for energy and information exchange," said Marić.
