The last month of this year's IATA summer season at Tivat Airport brought significantly better results to that airport than in October last year.
Namely, a total of 114.364 passengers passed through the two terminal buildings of Tivat Airport last month, which is 17,9 percent more than in the same month in 2024, while 1.125 aircraft takeoff and landing operations were carried out, which is nine percent more than in October 2024.
From the beginning of this year to November 1, Tivat Airport recorded a traffic of 1.297.538 passengers on a total of 13.474 aircraft operations, thus approaching the record performance from 2019, which the airport ended with a traffic of 1.367.282 passengers.
Although this figure will not be reached by the end of 2025, this is a success for Tivat Airport and the management of the company Aerodromi Crne Gore, considering the fact that in 2019, as much as two-thirds of the airport's total traffic was on the markets of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, which have since been completely lost due to the well-known war and political events in that part of Europe. This means that in just five years, Tivat Airport has managed to fully compensate and, with new routes to other destinations in Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia, replace two-thirds of its traffic..
