The reconstruction of the 3,21 kilometer long Kovren-Gorice road is now certain, after a contract was signed between the Ministry of Public Works and the contractor, the company "Konstruktor" from Bijelo Polje.
In the tender for the execution of the works, "Konstruktor" offered 75 percent of the full price, and "Bemax" offered 80 percent.
The estimated investment value for the Kovren - Gorice road route is 203.080 euros. This project, as well as the reconstruction of the Tomaševo - Sokolac road route, which is also expected, worth 661.157 euros excluding VAT, are being financed from the state budget.
President of the Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of the Kovren-Gorice Road Asphalting Project Momcilo Kojović said that due to weather conditions, the road will not be worked on this fall, but will wait until spring, but that the cleaning of canals and culverts will begin.
He reminded that the protests of citizens at the school in Gorice bore fruit - that the refusal of the Mayor of the Municipality Petar Smolović that organizing the work resulted in a delay and loss of five months of time, but that the project did not fail, because the relevant ministry took over the implementation of the work at the end of June
