The Civil Aviation Agency (CAA) hosted participants in the training for national auditors this week, organized by the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC).

The program includes a combination of professional lectures and practical exercises performed at Podgorica Airport, and participants are enabled to acquire and improve knowledge and skills that are applied in the most developed European surveillance systems through realistic scenarios.

The lecturers are ECAC experts who shared with the participants modern methods, standards and approaches in civil aviation safety oversight.

The one-week training brought together representatives of the competent aviation authorities from several European countries, including Serbia, Lithuania and Malta, as well as representatives of the ESA organization - the supervisory body of the EFTA countries, as well as the CAA and the Airport.

"The agency actively contributes to the promotion of best European practices in civil aviation oversight, ensuring the participation of renowned lecturers and directly adopting experiences from countries with the most developed oversight systems," the statement said.

The CAA reminded that expert workshops in the field of flight operations and aviation medicine, organized by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), concluded on Wednesday. The workshops were hosted by the CAA.
